I’ve been researching merchant accounts for a few weeks now and often come across the phrase “Cheap merchant account”. Is there really such a thing and if so what does this entail exactly?

I’m interested in signing up for a merchant account to grow my business but I’m very apprehensive about the term “non-cancelable”. What does this mean exactly and what are the potential risks of signing up with a provider that has this term in their contract?
