I run a small Bed and Breakfast; we are busy literally three months out of the year. Is there a type of Merchant Account designed specifically for seasonal businesses?

   Yes… you will need to request to be set up as a seasonal merchant with your Acquirer. This will ensure that your Acquirer will turn off your billing during your off seasons. But you can expect to pay a minimal monthly fee to keep your account active on the books.
